Description
Model 8730 heated enclosed shower and eye/face wash shall include an all-weather foam-insulated 4' x 5' (1.2 x 1.5 m) booth with a R-value of 11 provides an operating temperature range of -30° to 100° F (-34° to 38° C). It shall include dual spring-loaded, self-closing shower doors, and is trimmed with large directional arrows, universal shower/eyewash sign, fiberglass floor grate, and 3" IPS inside caulk drain. There is a 20 gpm (75.7 L) AXION® MSR hydrodynamic shower head, and 3gpm (11.4 L) eye/face wash. Galvanized piping and bronze valves are used, and requires a plumbed connection to tempered water. The internal booth temperature is maintained by a forced convection space heater. The 240V/1PH/60Hz power and single point electrical connection is designed for Ordinary Locations. The alarm system is flow switch activated, and provides local audible and visible alarms with remote contacts.
